การไปนมัสการสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ใน บันทึกซะระฌินะ

Abstract

บันทึกซะระฌินะ （更級日記） เป็นบันทึกการเดินทาง และบันทึกเกี่ยวกับชีวิตของผู้เขียน เขียนขึ้นราว ค.ศ.1060 ไม่ทราบชื่อผู้เขียน ทราบแต่ว่าผู้เขียนเป็นธิดาของขุนนางชื่อซุงะวะระ โนะ ทะกะซุเอะ （菅原孝標） ในบันทึกชิ้นนี้ ผู้เขียนยังได้เล่าถึงการ ไปนมัสการสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ตามสถานที่ต่างๆ หลายครั้ง โดยมักเล่าถึง ความฝันที่ผู้เขียนฝันเห็นระหว่างที่ไปนมัสการสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ บทความ วิจัยชิ้นนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์เกี่ยวกับสาเหตุหรือ แรงจูงใจของการไปนมัสการสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของผู้เขียน บันทึกซะระฌินะ ซึ่งจะช่วยให้เข้าใจคุณค่าความสำคัญของการไปนมัสการสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ของผู้หญิงชนชั้นสูงญี่ปุ่นสมัยเฮอัน จากการศึกษาพบว่า ความเชื่อว่า สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์จะมาปรากฏในความฝันและช่วยดลใจให้แก่ผู้ที่มี จิตศรัทธา เป็นแรงจูงใจอย่างหนึ่งที่ทำให้ผู้หญิงชนชั้นสูงสมัยเฮอัน นิยมเดินทางไปนมัสการขอพรเพื่อขอให้สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ช่วยดลใจเรื่อง อนาคต ความฝันนั้นยังช่วยสร้าง “ความหวัง” อันก่อให้เกิดพลัง ในการดำรงชีวิตอยู่ต่อไป

Pilgrimages in Sarashina Nikki

Sarashina Nikki is the diary about the author’s journey and her life. It was written around 1060 A.D. by an author known only as the daughter of Sugawara no Takasue. The diary also tells about the author’s pilgrimage trips to many holy places and her dreams during those trips. This article aims to study the motive of the pilgrimages made by the author of Sarashina Nikki. This study will help understand the significance of pilgrimages of Japanese high class ladies in the Heian period. From the study, the belief that the sacred Manitou will come to give guidance to the believer in a dream is a motive for high class ladies to take pilgrimage trips in order to get guidance about their future. The dream also gives “hope” which gives them power to continue their lives.
