บทคัดย่อ

The objective of this research was to study soio-economic factors in Huai Lan Irrigation and some input factors namely agricultural extension, land utilization during dry season. Also identification of some factors influencing land-utilization during dry season and constraints on dry season cropping was discussed. The data were gathered from 210 respondents in the project site, Tambon Ontai, Amphoe San Kamphaeng, Changwat Chiang Mai. The research findings indicated that for Huai Lan Irrigation Project; Land utilization during dry season was positively related to income earned in both dry and wet seasons, crops farm size, and prices of farm products, and access to agricultural intelligence including investment capital for dry season cropping. The problem faced by respondents was the out break of insect pests and diseases, inadequacy of irrigation facilities, uncertainly in product price, and inaccessibility to water supply.
