The Development of Thai Language Lessons for Conversation in Real Situations for Foreigners

Abstract

The objectives of this research to develop and find the effectiveness of Thai language conversation classes for communication in real situations for foreigners. The samples used in the research were 15 people including Thai language teachers who taught foreign students and Expert. The research methodology was divided into 2 steps: Step 1: Study and Analysis and Step 2 Design and Development. There were 3 lessons used in the research. Statistics used in data analysis were mean and standard. Research results can be summarized as follows: The result of Thai language conversation lessons for communication in real situations for foreigners’ development and efficiency demonstrates that the results of the study can be divided into 3 levels: basic level, intermediate and advanced. There are 3 books, while the overall efficiency of the study is at the highest level with an average of 4.86 and a standard deviation of 0.08. for the standard deviation which indicates that the learning process is appropriate and applicable to real practice.
