Development of Mobile Application for Free Independent Traveler Promotion of Nang Lae Sub-district, Muang District, ChiangRai Province

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to develop the mobile application for free independent traveler Promotion of Nang Lae Sub-district, Muang District, Chiang Rai Province, and to assess satisfaction of the users on using the mobile application for free independent traveler Promotion of Nang Lae Sub-district. The samples were 60 international and Thai tourists. The instruments were satisfaction assessment form on the mobile application for free independent traveler Promotion of Nang Lae Sub-district, ChiangRai Province.
The needs analysis on content for the mobile application indicated that the mobile application should contain 16 tourism spots. Moreover, the mobile application should contain 11 lists: 1. History/additional information, 2. Working Hours, 3. Location, 4. Contact Tel., 5. Website, 6. Service Charges, 7. For More Information, 8. Picture, 9. Distance to the tourism spots, 10. Distance among the tourism spots, And 11. With five Languages (Thai, Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean). The quality evaluation results of the mobile application for free independent traveler Promotion of Nang Lae Sub-district, Muang District, ChiangRai Province. showed that, in overall, the mobile application quality was rated at the highest level ( = 4.45, S.D. = 0.61).
The satisfaction assessment on the mobile application, in overall, was found at the high level ( = 4.12, S.D. = 1.45).
