Conceptual Metaphor of Love s in Composed of Keaw Achariyakul’s Songs

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study concepts metaphors for love in the songs composed by Keaw Achariyakul. The analysis is based on Lakoff and Johnson’s cognitive semantic and conceptual metaphors theories.
The study reveals that conceptual metaphors for love found in the songs composed by Keaw Achariyakul are as followed; conceptual metaphors for love which reflect that; love is animate, love is inanimate, love is direction, love is education, love is fighting in the war, In addition, the concepts appeared also reflect the physical object that is more abstract than what is found by the metaphors of love. There is the most meaningful relationship with nature and the human body while the meaningful relationship with the least miracle.
