The analysis of plot strategies in the ghost novel set “Six Scream” by Phakhinay

Abstract
The aim of this study was to analyze the plot strategies in the ghost novels set “Six Scream” by Phakhinay. For analyzing the plot strategies, used the Prathip Meuannil’s plot strategies concept. Based on the data obtained, the following conclusions were found in 4 parts of plot strategies; 1) beginning strategy started with depiction of excited situations to invite main characters; 2) rising action strategy was a chronological and a backward running; 3) conflict strategy included the conflict between man and man that caused by vengeance, mistake hiding, love problem, survival, conflict of interest and conflict of inappropriate behavior, including the discoveries in conflict between man and supernatural that caused by vengeance and survival; 4) ending strategy ended by twist ending and tragedy ending.
