Abstract

The continued growth and the advanced development in all aspects of Singapore is
much higher when compared with the neighboring countries in the same continent. This
makes it interesting to study about Singapore, the newly state, which has just got
independence in 1963. And to study why Singapore can make a rapid development.
Although Singapore was ruled under one Prime minister for 31 years, but the monopoly
power of the Prime minister did not ruin the country but instead under his command,
Singapore has developed in all aspects in stability way. As a result, this essay aims to
analyze about the newly state of modern Singapore under the ruled of Lee Kuan Yew who
has built the great foundation for Singapore and its citizens. This essay wants to make the
reader understand about the prosperity of Singapore under the governance under one man
ruling; moreover, this essay wants to present the visions of the good leader in terms of
country’s governance in order to lead the country into prosperity in all aspects; politics,
education, and economics.
