Abstract
This article aims to present the development of a university library into a smart library. A university library should have more automation management for all systems, apply information technology into all management functions, and have a database that is easy for users to access. In addition, A university library should be designed as a green library that is environmentally friendly, the library should be designed for multiple uses, library resources should be developed, new forms of media must be provided to customers, and librarians should develop more skills, especially in all dimensions of information technology and library management.
