Abstract
The purposes of this study were to determine: 1) the methods of warehouse management of JD Central Co., Ltd., 2) increasing warehouse management productivity of JD Central Co., Ltd., 3) to compare the opinions on the increase of warehouse management productivity of JD Central Co., Ltd. classified by personal data, and 4) to find the relationship between warehouse management methods and the productivity of warehouse management of JD Central Co., Ltd. The population in this study were company personnel and customer of JD Central Co., Ltd. by using questionnaires as a tool to study. Data were collected and analyzed by using percentage, mean, t-test, f-test one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis.
The result of research indicated that most of the respondents were male, aged less than or equal to 25 years old, graduated lower than a bachelor’s degree, operational positions level, and had less than or equal 5 years of work experience. The overall picture of warehouse management methods and warehouse management productivity were at a very important level. The results of the hypothesis testing of the differences in gender, age, and years of work experience affected the productivity of warehouse management of JD Central Co., Ltd. with statistical significance at the level of .05. The warehouse management methods were related to the productivity of warehouse management of JD Central Co., Ltd. at a high level in the same direction and the warehouse management methods influenced the increase of productivity of warehouse management of JD Central Co., Ltd. with statistical significance at the level of .05.
Suggestions from the study were that warehouse managers should use technology to increase the efficiency of receiving products, transporting products from vehicles into the warehouse, products counting to match the ordered and quantity of returning products from customers, inspect products quality, define a secure storage location, manage storage space efficiently, storing products at the right temperature, emphasize on products delivery as scheduled with the standards to maintain products quality and good delivery service
