Loan agreement disputes in Moo 3 , Khao Phra, Phipun, Nakhon Si Thammarat

Abstract
The objective of this research was to study knowledge and understanding, including problem of loan agreement disputes of people in Moo 3, Khao Phra Sub-district, Phipun District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The research showed that people lacked knowledge and understanding in making loan agreement. The problems included loan without the evidence signed by the borrowers, usury, repayment and compulsory performance. Therefore, giving legal knowledge to people who were the sample of the research was necessary. After the process of training to transfer knowledge, testing and evaluation, the results showed that people who were the sample gained more knowledge in making loan agreement. Moreover,
spreading awareness of legal procedures gave people an opportunity to get legal service. It also helped people to gain more knowledge and understanding about matters of law accurately and further their legal knowledge to help other people in the community. The research suggested that training course of being mediator for conciliation should be created by the village in cooperation with other related departments to train the community leaders and volunteers in the community area. Also, there should be the legal clinic established in the community to spread legal knowledge and give legal advice to people.
