Community Participation of Women in the Saving Group for Production: A Case Study of Ban Nahnod, Kamphang Sao Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract
This work aims to study affecting factors on community participation of women in the savings groups for production of Ban Nahnod, Kamphaeng Sao subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat district Nakhon Si Thammarat province. This research was quantitative research method with sample size of 380 from Female population living in Kamphaeng Sao subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat district Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Questionnaires were applied as an instrument in this research.
The results represented that community participation of women in the saving group, opinions of members on the management in the saving group and opinions of members on the leaders in the saving group were at the highest levels with overall mean values 4.33, 4.36 and 4.39, respectively. While, opinions of members on social networks in the saving group were the high level with an overall mean value 3.92. Community participation of women in the savings groups for production of Ban Nahnod, Kamphaeng Sao subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat district Nakhon Si Thammarat province classified by personal factors It was found that the income factor did not affect community participation of women in the savings groups for production of Ban Nahnod, Kamphaeng Sao subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat district Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Management opinions opinion of the leader and a social network of savings groups There was a correlation with women's participation in the group savings for Ban Na Nod production, Kamphaeng Sao Sub-district, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat District. Nakhon Si Thammarat Province with statistical significance .05 in all issues
