Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to investigate transformational leadership of school administrators under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 4; 2) to examine the roles in promoting students’ learning skills in 21st century under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 4; and 3) to explore the relationship between transformational leadership of school administrators and students’ learning skills in 21st century under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 4. The samples used in this study were 314 teachers. The instruments used for data collection was a point-rating scale questionnaires. Data analysis was processed through ready-made program using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.The statistics for hypothesis testing was Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient.


The results revealed as follow;


  1. The transformational leadership among school administrators was at a high level as a whole. When considering each individual aspect according to the mean, it was found that inspiration motivation was at the highest, followed by individualized consideration, idealized influence, and intellectual stimulation, respectively.

  2. The roles in promoting students’ learning skills in 21st century was at a high level as a whole. When considering each individual aspect, it showed that critical thinking and problem-solving was at the highest level, collaboration, and social and cultural awareness, respectively.

  3. There was a high relationship (r=.689) and statistically significant at a level of .01 in terms of the relationship between transformational leadership of school administrators and students’ learning skills in 21st century under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 4.
