TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP OF ADMINISTRATORS IN SCHOOL UNDER THE SRIBHURABHA SUB AREA IN THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 7

Abstract

This survey research aimed to study and compare transformational leadership of administrators in school under the Sribhurabha sub area in the secondary educational service area office 7. The study sample consisted of 151 teachers who worked in schools, under the Sribhurabha sub area in the secondary educational service area office 7 in academic year 2020, were categorized according to level of education, position classification and school size. The instrument was a 40-item, 5-scale rating questionnaire querying about opinion about transformational leadership of administrators in school. The questionnaire’s reliability was 0.978. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way Analysis of Variance, and Scheffe’s method.


1. The teachers’ opinion about transformational leadership of administrators in school under the Sribhurabha sub area in the secondary educational service area office 7 in overall and every aspect were at high level from the most to the least were idealized influence, inspirational motivation, individualized consideration and intellectual stimulation.


2. When compare teachers’ opinion about transformational leadership of administrators in school under the Sribhurabha sub area in the secondary educational service area office 7, it was found that:


 2.1 There was no difference of opinion about transformational leadership of administrators in school under the Sribhurabha sub area in the secondary educational service area office 7 among teachers from different level of education and position classification, both in each aspect and the overall opinion.


2.2 Generally, opinion about transformational leadership of administrators in school under the Sribhurabha sub area in the secondary educational service area office 7 among teachers from different school size was different at a significant level of 0.05, both in each dimension and the overall opinion. The opinion level of teachers working for small-medium schools was higher than teachers from large and extra-large schools.
