Relationship between Academic Leadership of Administrators and Ordinary National Education Test Result in Primary School under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

     This research was aimed to study the relationship between academic leadership of administrators and ordinary national education test results in Primary Schools under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The research samples included 313 administrators and teachers in Primary Schools under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with the reliability of .96. The statistics in data analysis were Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient.


         The research findings were as follows: 1) The overall academic leadership of school administrators was at a high level. 2) The result of the national educational test of the school Overall, the average score is at the level that should be improved. 3) Academic leadership of administrators had a very low positive correlation (r = .033) with the results of national educational tests of schools. 4) Guideline on development of the academic leadership in school administration conducive to national educational test results, namely curriculum development in line with the educational school context, provide learning resources that are diverse and conducive to learners' learning, support teachers for their personal and professional development. There is continuous supervision and follow-up. and there is a process for measuring and evaluating learners according to real conditions that can be examined.
