Abstract


         The purposes of this study were 1) to study administrator's conflict management according to the teachers ' attitude; 2) to study the morale of the teachers' work performance; 3) to study the correlation between conflict management of school administrator according to the teachers' attitude and morale of teachers’ performance; 4) to study problems and suggestions on conflict management of school administrator according to the teachers ' attitude under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area 11. A sample was selected from 335 teachers under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area 11, Surat Thani Province, for the academic year 2019. The research instrument was a 5-level opinion questionnaire with Cronbrat's alpha coefficient.The questionnaire was 0.975. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson's correlation coefficient.


         The findings indicated that 1) conflict management of the school administrators according to the teacher's perspective. The overall picture is at a high level. The arithmetic mean values ​​are sorted from highest to lowest as follows: Mediation, confrontation, withdrawal and power; 2) The overall teacher morale is good. The arithmetic mean values ​​were sorted from highest to lowest as follows: success, working conditions, relationship, welfare, compensation, career advancement and security; 3) Conflict management of the school administrators according to the teachers' point of view was related to the teacher's morale at the correlation value of 0.173 at a low level. Conflict management of the school administrators according to the teacher's attitude of the withdrawal model had the greatest correlation with the morale of the teachers in terms of working conditions; 4) The administrators used all ways of conflict management, each with different problems and suggestions.
