Communication for Administrators of Local Government Organization in a New Era

Abstract

     Communication serves as a pivotal tool within the management processes of modern organizations in a new era. It emphasizes decentralization in self-management of local government organization and providing public services to people and stakeholders efficiently, thoroughly, equally, and fairly amid rapid and wide change of context; and high-performance organization management within a good governance framework. For this reason, operation and management of local government organizations depend on administrators who are skillful and capable in effective communication. Organization administrators in a new era should have 8 communication skills, including communication of learning and development in democratic form of government, communication of change and development of local government organization, communication of stakeholder participation,  communication of organization development toward high performance, communication of network development, communication of campaign according to the mission and local community context, communication of image building and popularity in organization and local administrators, and communication of operation in politics together with local government of organization. These skills can build a good relationship and participation in organization operation to achieve goals of organization in a new era.
