Components of Quality Citizenship Characteristics in the 21st Century of Educational Institutions Under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 1

Abstract

      The objectives of this research are 1) to study the components of quality citizenship characteristics in the 21st century of educational institutions under the Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and 2) To analyze confirmatory elements of quality citizenship characteristics in the 21st century of educational institutions under the Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. Qualitative research was conducted by synthesizing documents and interviewing five school administrators by purposive selection. The research instruments were a document synthesis form and an interview form. The quantitative research section collected data from administrators and teachers in educational institutions.  The sample size was determined according to Krejcie, R.V., & D.W. Morgan table, totaling 148 people. The research tool was a questionnaire with .932 reliability. Data were analyzed by content analysis, confirmatory component analysis, and simple statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed that 1) Components of quality citizenship characteristics in the 21st century of educational institutions under the Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 consisted of 4 components: good citizenship; global citizenship attributes Digital Citizenship Features and characteristics of citizenship according to the philosophy of sufficiency economy 2) The confirmatory component analysis model consists of 18 observable variables, with a component weight of 0.50 or more, an eigenvalue greater than 1, and each component contains 3 or more variables.
