Curriculum Development for Parents to Promote Early Childhood Development by Community Based of Border Patrol Police Learning Centre, Ban Huay Tong, Noppitam District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

Abstract
This article aims to study 1) Parenting style of Ban Huai Tong Border Patrol Police Learning Center 2) Develop a curriculum for parents to promote early childhood development by Community Based. The research model is part of research and development. The research has two phases: Phase 1 is a study on parenting style, from a group of volunteers according to the human ethics process. The method used was a questionnaire on parent and child rearing at the early childhood level and informal interviews. The informants were 18 parents and the questionnaire on early childhood children's expectations regarding by their parents' upbringing. The informants were 19 early childhood children, collects data by actually visiting the area. Data were analyzed by finding the average, standard deviation and analysis and synthesis of data. Phase 2: Experiment with curriculum workshops for parents by Community Based. Which 18 parents and 2 early childhood teachers participated in this study. Data were analyzed using content analysis.
The results of the research as follows: 1) Parents had 3 forms of early childhood care by Authoritarian parenting style, Integrated parenting style and Mental Punishment parenting style, and 2) Curriculum for parents to promote early childhood development using by Community Based. Emphasis should be placed on promoting positive life skills for early childhood, divided into 4 phases: (1) Awareness of dangers from disasters, (2) Basic assessment and preparation, (3) Asking for helps and Self-recovery during disaster strikes, and (4) Mental recovery after disaster with parents or guardian.
