Competency Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of Human Resource Management of Sub-district Administration Organizations in At Samat District, Roi Et Province.
The purposes of this research were to study 1) the effectiveness’s level of human resource management of sub-district administration organizations in At Samat district, Roi Et province, 2) competency factors affecting the effectiveness of human resource management of sub-district administration organizations in At Samat district, Roi Et province, and 2) the recommendation for improvement of the human resource management of sub-district administration organizations in At Samat district, Roi Et province. Samples were 171 officials, calculated by Taro Yamane’s formula at the confident level at 95%. The instruments used in the research were questionnaires. Statistical tools employed were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, one sample t-test, stepwise multiple regression and content analysis to analyze qualitative data.
The main research findings were as follow:
1. The effectiveness’s level of human resource management of sub-district administration
organizations in At Samat district, Roi Et province was higher than 70% at .05 level of statistical significance.
2. Competency factors consisted of expertise, achievement motivation, and service mind
affected the effectiveness of human resource management of sub-district administration
organizations in At Samat district, Roi Et province which could totally explain the dependent
variables at 44.10 (R2 = .441) with .05 level of statistical significance.
3. The recommendations for improvement of the human resource management of
sub-district administration organizations in At Samat district, Roi Et province included; the
organization should arrange the recruitment and selection transparently, ensure transparency in the administration, and have a meeting regularly.
