The Service Performance Effectiveness of The Registration Office at Suratthani Rajabhat University

The objectives of this research were to study the level of service performance effectiveness, to compare the service performance effectiveness, and to study the guidelines for service performance development of the registration office at Suratthani Rajabhat University. Data were collected using a questionnaire with reliability of 0.91 from 377 students, who were selected using the simple random sampling, and an interview of 21 samples includingdeans, deputy dean of academic affairs, and officers of academic affairs, who were selected using the purposive sampling. The quantitative data were analyzed using basic statistics : percentage, mean, and standard deviation; and test statistics : T-test and F-test. The qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis.

The research results showed that the service performance effectiveness of the registration office at Suratthani Rajabhat University was at a high level in overall. Considering individual aspects, Location was at a very high level, followed by facility, process/step of service, and service officer were at a very high level. The comparisons of opinions of students, who were different in terms of gender, faculty, year of study, and frequency of taking a service at the registration office, showed identical opinions. The suggestions towards the guidelines for service performance development were as follows : comprehensive services should be provided; officers should be friendlier; a number of officers should be more adequate; and modern technology facilities should be provided.
