ข้อบกพร่องงานวิจัยทางการบริหารการศึกษา

Abstract

ในการทำวิจัยทางด้านการบริหารการศึกษา ทั้งในส่วนที่เป็นการวิจัยเพื่อเป็นวิทยานิพนธ์ภาคนิพนธ์และการค้นคว้าอิสระเพื่อเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการศึกษา หรืองานวิจัยของผู้บริหารที่จัดทำขึ้น เพื่อใช้ขอเลื่อนวิทยฐานะก็ตาม จากประสบการณ์ในการตรวจผลงานเหล่านี้ พบว่า มีข้อบกพร่องที่พบบ่อยอยู่ 2 ส่วน คือ ข้อบกพร่องทั่วไป และข้อบกพร่องด้านเนื้อหา ในส่วนของข้อบกพร่องทั่วไปมี 2 กรณี คือข้อบกพร่องด้านภาษาได้แก่การใช้คำหรือวลีในการวิจัยตลอดเล่ม ไม่คงเส้นคงวา การใช้ภาษาที่ไม่เป็นทางการในการรายงานวิจัย การจัดย่อหน้าไม่เหมาะสม ทำให้เนื้อความที่นำเสนอขาดความสมบูรณ์ในแต่ละย่อหน้า การใช้ภาษาอังกฤษแทรกในเนื้อหา หรือท้ายหัวข้อที่เป็นวงเล็บภาษาอังกฤษไม่ถูกต้องโดยเฉพาะอักษรนำของแต่ละตัวไม่เป็นแบบเดียวกัน ส่วนข้อบกพร่องด้านการพิมพ์ ได้แก่ รูปแบบการพิมพ์ การกำหนดแบบและขนาดตัวอักษร การกำหนดหัวข้อย่อย และการจัดพิมพ์ตารางไม่เป็นรูปแบบเดียวกัน ขาดความคงเส้นคงวาตลอดเล่ม และการพิมพ์แยกคำ ระหว่างบรรทัด

ในส่วนข้อบกพร่องด้านเนื้อหา ข้อบกพร่องที่พบได้แก่ การศึกษาเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องไม่ทันสมัย ขาดการสังเคราะห์เนื้อหาเป็นของผู้วิจัย การเขียนความเป็นมาและความสำคัญของปัญหาไม่ชัดเจน ไม่ชี้ชัดให้เห็นประเด็นปัญหาที่ต้องวิจัย การเขียนวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยไม่ชัดเจนและไม่เชื่อมโยงกับวิธีดำเนินการวิจัย การเขียนความสำคัญของการวิจัยไม่ชัดเจนว่าจะนำผลการวิจัยนี้ไปใช้ประโยชน์อย่างไร การเขียนขอบเขตของการวิจัย ขาดความจำเพาะเจาะจงกับเรื่องที่ทำและขาดการให้เหตุผลในการกำหนดขอบเขตในแต่ละประเด็น การเขียนข้อตกลงเบื้องต้นไม่ถูกต้อง และเป็นการเปิดจุดอ่อนของการวิจัย การเขียนกรอบแนวคิดในการวิจัยขาดความชัดเจน ไม่มีที่มา การเขียนนิยามศัพท์เฉพาะยังไม่เป็นนิยามปฏิบัติการ วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยขาดความชัดเจนในด้าน การนิยาม ประชากรและรายละเอียดการสุ่มตัวอย่าง การสร้างเครื่องมือขาดความน่าเชื่อถือ ขาดความชัดเจนด้านการตรวจสอบคุณภาพ การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลล่าช้าและไม่เป็นไปตามเป้า การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและการนำเสนอผลการวิเคราะห์ไม่เป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย การนำเสนอผลการวิจัยและการอภิปรายผล ขาดเหตุผลในเชิงตรรกะ และเชื่อมโยงกับเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง การเขียนข้อเสนอแนะไม่สามารถนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติได้ การจัดทำบรรณานุกรมไม่เป็นไปตามแบบเดียวกัน ภาคผนวกขาดเอกสารสำคัญที่จะทำให้งานวิจัยเกิดความสมบูรณ์

Research in Educational Management either in thesis, term paper or independent

study which considered part of the study for the completion of graduation, or even the research that proposed for the promotion of the educational administrators had been found during supervising stage contained two major deficiencies which were the general and content deficiencies. There were two cases found in general deficiencies which were language defects consisted of no consistency with the words or phrases chosen throughout the research. The language used was not academically written. The layout was not appropriate which made the content incomplete for each page. The use of English inserting either in the content or in the parenthesis was not correct, in particular, the initial letter of each word was not the same style. The defects in typing were the format, fonts and points of the letters. The sub-heading and tables used were not the same styles. There was not only no consistency throughout the research, but there were also the defects of words split between the lines.

Furthermore, content-related defects which frequently found, included outof- date the literature reviews and related documents used for the research. There was a lack of synthesis procedures of the researchers. The background of the histories and rationales were not presented clearly or precisely to the research problems. The objectives of the research were not clear or related to the research methodology. The significance of the research was not clear and did not mention how the results could be used. The scope of the study was not specified on the topic and lacked of the reasons for each point in the scope. The basic assumption was not correct which led to weak points in the research. The research conceptual framework was not clear or did not contain any background information. The research definitions were not operational definitions. The research methodology was not very clear in terms of population definition and details of the random samplings. The construction of the research instruments was not reliable. There was not clear method for how to check for quality. Data collecting was late and did not reach the goal. The results analysis and presentation were not coherent to the objectives of the research. There was a lack of logical reasons on the presentation of the results and discussion which could be linked to literature review and related documents. The proposed suggestions could not lead to the implementation. The bibliography was not in the same style; moreover, the appendix did not include the vital documents needed for a completed research study.
