Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the impact of plagiarism of Information Management Students, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University and to assess the students' academic understanding of the developed learning model. The research data were collected by questionnaires and pretest and posttest samples from 12 experimental students who studied in Informatics Research. Statistics used in data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean and T-test.


          The research results of objective analysis 1st issues found that the main cause of plagiarism was the innocence due to lack of knowledge, deep understanding, and willful plagiarism which impact on higher education. The reflect on 4 aspects of learning problems: Knowledge / Attitude / Desirable Characteristics and Performance. The results of the 2nd issues found that the experimental group had developed an understood of academic plagiarism using a developed learning model for 9 weeks. This model focuses on the correct understanding of academic plagiarism with academic writing practice which the students were interested in. The research found that experimental group had higher mean scores after studying with statistic significance at the level of 0.05.
