A Comparative Study Of The Quality Life In Schools Of Upper Secondary Students In Bangkok Area.

Objectives of the study were to determine the level of quality of life (QOL) in school and to identify factors that affect QOL in school of upper secondary school of upper secondary students in Bangkok area. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The sample, i.e. 470 upper secondary students in the second of semester of 2553, was selected applying the stratified two stage sampling. Descriptive statistics and F-test were used to analyze data.

In the study, QOL were measured in 6 aspects namely, the physical, the emotional and psychological, the school environment, the knowledge and the relationship between students and teachers and the relationship between students and friends in school. It was found that the total score of QOL was at moderate level, exclude was at high level. Factors affecting the quality of life in school of upper secondary students with the average score of 3.16. Considering the 6 aspects of QOL, the relationship between students and friends in school was at high level, while the remaining 5 aspects were at moderated level. By using F – test, it showed that factors affect the QOL in school of upper secondary students were class level, academic achievement, people who live with students and relationship between students and their parents
