Professional Morality Conduct of Teachers in the Northeastern of Thailand.

The objectives of this research are to study about the level of Professional Morality Conduct (PMC) of teachers and to study the effect of teacher’s characteristics on the level of PMC. The samples in this research are 804 teachers, randomly selected from secondary schools in the Northeastern of Thailand, using multi – stage stratified random sampling. Data are collected using questionnaire and analyzed by t-test and F-test.

The research results can be summarized as follows: the level of PMC of teachers, PMC of Profession, PMC of Service, PMC of Participants and PMC of Social are very high. However, the level of PMC of their of their own is high. Comparing the level of PMC of teachers among effect characteristics of teacher, it is found that only academic position affects the level of PMC.
