The Relationship between Administrators’ Leadership Behavior and Academic Administration in the Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 11.

The purposes of this research were 1) to study administrators’ leadership behavior under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 11; 2) to study academic administration in the schools; and 3) to investigate the relationship between administrators’ leadership behavior and academic administration in the schools. The samples were 170 teachers,171 administrators and totaling 341. Data were collected by means of questionnaires and analyzed by using processed program computing to obtain percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation and Pearson ’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.

The research results revealed that:

1.The overall and administrators’ leadership behavior and academic Administration in the School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 11 were at high level. The middle aspect was initiating structure and consideration administrators’ leadership behavior.

2.The overall and each aspects of academic administration of school administrators were at high level. The highest aspect was school curriculum development while the lower aspect was quality assessment. The lowest aspect was academic promotion to community.

3.The overall relationship between administrators’ leadership behavior and academic administration in the schools administrators was positive at high level and there was statistic significance at .01 level. However, it was found that each aspect, the relationship between administrators’ leadership behavior and academic administration in the schools administrators was positive and there was statistic significance at . 01 level.
