About the Journal
Aims and Scope
Journal has a policy to accept the publication of research articles, scholarly articles, and book reviews in the fields of social sciences, social development, and social research. This is to disseminate knowledge to faculty members, academics, students, and interested individuals.
Peer Review Process
1. The editorial board conducts a preliminary review of the articles (both content and format according to the journal’s guidelines) and selects qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Each article is reviewed by three experts (in accordance with the criteria and methods for appointing individuals to the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor (Version 4), B.C. 2021).
2. The editorial board sends the articles to the reviewers through the ThaiJO system. The articles are evaluated in a double-blind manner, where both reviewers and authors are anonymous to each other. An article must pass the evaluation criteria if at least 2 out of 3 reviewers deem it to have met the standards of the Journal of Social Research and Review.
3. The reviewers provide comments and suggestions to assess the academic quality of the articles using the review form and submit it back to the editorial board.
4. The editorial board sends the reviewers' comments to the authors for revisions. The authors then submit the revised manuscript back to the editorial board for final review.
5. Special articles are not reviewed by external experts but must be approved by the editorial board.
Timeline for Article Processing (Throughout the Process)
The article processing timeline involves a minimum of 3 months.
