JUVENILE SEX OFFENDERS REGISTRATION

Abstract

This research aims to study the registration of youth sex offenders. This is a legal measure to monitor juvenile sex offenders in order to prevent recidivism, protect the person living with sex offenders and increase the efficiency of the investigation. The researcher conducted a study on the United Kingdom law relating to the Juvenile Sex Offender Registration section on the following topics 1. Juvenile Sex Offender Registration and Types of Sexual Offences 2. Juvenile Sex Offender Notification 3. Public access to Juvenile Sex Offender 4. Juvenile Sex Offender Residency Restrictions. Due to in some cases when the youth has committed an offense as required by law certain rights may be restricted by law, such as a restriction on the residential area of ​​youth offenders and the legal act to monitor juvenile offenders in Thailand. Such as the criminal record registration standard to study and compare the pros and cons between the British and the Thai regulations. In addition, consider finding suitable ways to apply the registration of the sex offenders to the current context of Thai society. This research is a qualitative research and uses descriptive research regulations.
