Abstract

MEDIATION TRAINING PROGRAM : A SURVEY IN THE INTERNATIONAL AND THAI CONTEXT

This research paper aimed to survey the mediation training programs in the international and Thai context. Research methodology involved documentary survey from the Internet and other sources. The findings indicated that the international mediation training programûs objective focused on professional skill while the Thai program focused mainly on the comprehension of and the skill on mediation. Alternative training program design for the Thai society depended upon the category of the trainees›whether they had experiences in mediation or not.
