Abstract

This research aims to investigate the level of satisfaction of nursing students and factors associated with satisfaction of nursing students toward online learning among crisis situational COVID-19. The quantitative and qualitative data were reviewed by three experts. A total of 284 nursing students were obtained to collect quantitative data with their satisfaction and semi-structural questionnaires divided into 2 focus group discussions to collect qualitative data at Nursing Faculty between January 15th - February 20th, 2021. An Ordered logistic regression and content analysis were used to identify significant factors contributing to nursing student satisfaction. Results: After controlling for individual socio-demographic factors, the result reveals that 2 factors have positive effects on nursing student satisfaction were the quality of lecturers with their various online teaching approaches, and skills and gained experience. Conclusion: The findings reflect challenges in the teaching and management context. This indicates the issue of supporting instructors in improving their online teaching capabilities. To enhance students’ appropriate learning skills and experience to achieve the highest level of satisfaction, according to the concept of quality assurance.
