The development of Professional English Communication Skills for nursing students is crucial and necessary for the formation of Thai nursing professional identity in the 21st century. The study samples consisted of nursing students from the Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhonratchasima in Nakhon Ratchasima. Fifty-two subjects were selected by multi- stage sampling based on the inclusion criteria. Subjects were equally assigned into an experimental group and comparison group, twenty-six in each group. Both groups were similar in level of English test scores. The experimental group self-learned English through E-nerd website for 2 weeks, whereas the control group learning English as standard learning for 2 weeks. The research instruments 1) The perceived self-efficacy about English communication questionnaire 2) The English communication skill questionnaire, and 3) The satisfaction questionnaire. The content validity was 1 and reliability of the research instruments were 0.95, 0.78 and 0.94, respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and research hypotheses were tested by Paired t-test, Independent t-test, Wilcoxon signed ranks, test and Mann Whitney U test. The results of this study revealed that the mean score of the perceived self-efficacy about English communication and English communication skill after self-learning through E-nerd website was statistically significantly higher than at baseline and in comparison to the comparison group (p < 0.05). Also, the nursing students’ satisfaction level on using the E-nerd website were high (M = 4.16, S.D. = 0.12). Therefore, the E-nerd website, an online, self-directed education learning program can be applied to develop self-efficacy perception and English communication skills for the professional nurse among nursing students. E-Nerd should be integrated into the standard learning for continuously and efficiently development of Professional English Communication Skills.
