PEOPLE’S OPINIONS TOWARDS THE ADMINISTRATION WITH GOOD GOVERNANCE OF PATHUM THANI MUNICIPALITY, PATHUM THANI PROVINCE

Abstract
This research on the people’s opinion towards the administration with good governance of Pathum Thani Municipality, Pathum Thani province. This quantitative study aims 1) to examine the opinion of people towards the administration with good governance of Pathum Thani Municipality, Pathum Thani province and 2) to compare the opinion of the studied people classified by sex, age, educational level, and occupation. The samples, derived from stratified random sampling, consist of 390 people in Pathum Thani Municipality, Pathum Thani province. Questionnaire is used as data collecting tool, and statistics used for data analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA at a statistical significance of .05. The findings show that holistically the opinion of the people towards the administration based on good governance at Pathum Thani Municipality, Pathum Thani province is rated high. When considered by aspect, the aspect of the rule of law is rated the highest. The aspects of responsibility, morality, transparency, and participation are rated high respectively. The hypothesis test reveals that the opinion of the studied people with differences of sex, age, educational level, and occupation towards the outcome of the administration based on good governance at Pathum Thani Municipality, Pathum Thani province is different
