University Environment Affecting Development According to Tri-sikkha : A Case Study of students Mahamakut buddhist University

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study students’ satisfaction on university environment and students’ development on the principle Tri-sikkha (Threefold Training); and find out relationship between university environment and students’ development on the principle of Tri-sikkha. The samples were 389 students from 7 campuses, 3 colleges, 11 learning centers and 3 classrooms to whom questionnaires were distributed for collecting of data which were analyzed through frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and c2– test by setting the statistical significance at 0.05. The research results were found that the students’ satisfaction on university environment was at the high level and the students’ development on the principle of Tri-sikkha was at high level. University environment in 4 aspects; administration, academic process, places and building, and information among fellow students, effected students’ development on the principle of Tri-sikkha.
