The Educational Administration Paradigm of the Graduate School of Mahamakut Buddhist University

Abstract
The objectives of this article are 1) to study the paradigm involving the education management in six areas of the graduate school of Mahamakut Buddhist University, 2) to survey the problems,threats and constraints faced by the so-said education management and 3) to suggest the suitable guidelines for improvement of the education management in mention. It is qualitative research, with 22 informants, both monks and laypersons. The results of the research can be summarized as follows: The curriculum designed is found to be unable to produce graduation quality as needed, the lecturers’ qualifications do not meet the specifications as required by the Office of the Higher Learners Commission, and the absence of teaching skills is also found on part of lecturers. Moreover, the leaguers are found be less in their attention to learn, and the areas of examination and assessment need the central exam papers assessment need to be used, and the supportive factor is found that the library is not good enough to facilitate teaching and learning activity. The problems, threats and constraints, are found to lie in the lecturers’ qualifications and their teaching skills. The guidelines to improve the education management are suggested that the curriculum be revised and improved in every two years in order that it will be updated and keep pace with the changing world.
