COMPETENCIES OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS IN ACADEMIC ADMINSTRATION UNDER SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE BANGKOK 1

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1. to study the competencies of school administrators in academic administration under Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1; 2. to compare the competencies of school administrators.Classified by work experience; and 3.to study guidelines for developing the competencies of school administrators .The samples used in this research were 5 school administrators and 273 teachers. The research tools were interview forms and questionnaires.The statistics used in the analysis were. The data are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and content analysis. The results of the study revealed that 1. the competency of school administrators in academic in the overall was at high level; 2. comparison the competencies of administrators in academic administration Classified by work experience, overall and each aspect were significantly different .01 level classified by education level,It was found that the overall was not different when considering.As for the promotion of research to improve the quality of learning management. statistically significant difference.01; and 3. guidelines for development the competencies of school administrators in academic, it was found that 3.1 Learning Management Educational institution administrators should have a clear policy to develop learner learning, 3.2 Curriculum Development School administrators should take the lead in curriculum development. Provide a variety of courses, 3.3 Supervision of learning management in educational institutions School administrators should have knowledge Understanding of supervision of learning management, and 3.4 In terms of learning management, research is encouraged to develop the quality of learning management.
