INTEGRATION OF BUDDHIST METHODS TO CAMPAIGN FOR THE USE OF THAI LANGUAGE AMONG MODERN YOUTHS

Abstract

           The objectives of this research were as follows: 1. to study the components of Buddhist methods to promote the use of Thai language among modern teenagers. 2. to create and develop a model for integrating Buddhist methods to promote the use of Thai language among modern teenagers from empirical data and 3. to convey knowledge on integrating Buddhist methods to promote the use of Thai language among modern teenagers. The sample group consisted of students, personnel from educational institutions, and experts from Mahamakut Buddhist University, Roi Et Campus, and Roi Et Rajabhat University, totaling 136 persons, with 4 key informants. The research instruments used were interview forms and questionnaires with a reliability of 0.93 The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
          The research results found that; 1. Components and indicators of the integration of Buddhist methods to promote the use of Thai language among modern teenagers consist of 4 components and 32 indicators, and the level of opinion regarding the integration of Buddhist methods to promote the use of Thai language among modern teenagers is overall at a high level. 2. Development of an integrated Buddhist method model to promote the use of Thai language among modern teenagers, consisting of listening, writing, Principles of language use and reading and 3. Transfer of knowledge on integrating Buddhist methods to promote the use of Thai language among modern teenagers by using a manual with various components and content, In terms of format and language use, design, layout, feasibility of using the manual, and benefits from using the manual, it is most appropriate and can be used effectively.
