บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพนี้มุ่งศึกษามุมมอง วิถีการประกอบอาชีพนักดนตรีในพื้นที่ชายแดนปาดังเบซาร์ จังหวัดสงขลา เก็บข้อมูลโดยสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับอาชีพนักดนตรีในพื้นที่นี้ 20 คน ที่ได้มาด้วยเทคนิคสโนว์บอล เครื่องมือการวิจัยเป็นแบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งมีโครงสร้าง ที่ผู้เชี่ยวชาญประเมินว่ามีความเที่ยงตรงเหมาะสม และตรวจสอบความถูกต้องของข้อมูลด้วยการตรวจสอบสามเส้า วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและจัดหมวดหมู่ประกอบการบรรยาย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า มุมมอง วิถีการประกอบอาชีพนักดนตรีในพื้นที่ชายแดนปาดังเบซาร์ที่ได้มี 6 ด้าน คือ 1) เส้นทางการเป็นนักดนตรีที่ส่วนใหญ่มาจากความชอบและการมีความสามารถทางดนตรีเป็นต้นทุน 2) ลักษณะของอาชีพจะเป็นได้ทั้งงานประจำและงานอิสระ 3) คุณสมบัติและการให้ค่าตอบแทน จะพิจารณาที่ทักษะ ประสบการณ์ บุคลิกภาพ และอายุของนักดนตรีตามที่ผู้จ้างกำหนด 4) ปัญหาอุปสรรคของอาชีพนักดนตรี คือ มีรายได้ไม่แน่นอน ไม่มีสวัสดิการใด ๆ เมื่ออายุมากขึ้นหรือมีครอบครัวจะได้รับความนิยมน้อยลง 5) การพัฒนาตนเอง ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเรื่องการฝึกซ้อม ฝึกเล่นเครื่องดนตรีใหม่ ๆ การหาช่องทางสร้างรายได้เพิ่ม แต่การพัฒนายังไม่เป็นระบบ ควรมีการรวมกลุ่มเป็นชมรม สมาคมหรือเครือข่ายเพื่อสร้างพลังของกลุ่มช่วยเหลือกันและกัน และ 6) การสร้างครอบครัวและคุณภาพชีวิต เป็นเรื่องที่ทุกคนปรารถนา แต่ยังถือว่ารายได้ยังไม่มั่นคง ไม่เพียงพอ บางคนเลือกอาชีพ นักดนตรีเป็นเพียงอาชีพเสริมเพิ่มรายได้ ซึ่งข้อค้นพบของวิจัยนี้สามารถนำไปใช้วางแผน กำหนดนโยบายช่วยเหลือนักดนตรีและอาชีพอื่น ๆ ในพื้นที่ได้เป็นอย่างดี
