Journal of Yala Rajabhat University (JYRU) is an academic journal dedicated to promoting and disseminating high-quality scholarly works. It serves as an academic platform for scholars and researchers from diverse disciplines to examine, evaluate, and create new knowledge in economics, business administration, education, social research, and community development, ultimately contributing to academic advancement and social development.
Journal of Yala Rajabhat University is published three times a year: Issue 1 (January–April), Issue 2 (May–August), and Issue 3 (September–December). It is published in an electronic format (ISSN: 2985-1424 (Online)). To ensure a rigorous and fair evaluation process, all articles undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two experts, keeping the identities of both authors and reviewers strictly confidential. Aims and Scope:
The Journal of Yala Rajabhat University serves as an interdisciplinary academic platform for the dissemination of research and scholarly works, with the objective of promoting a profound understanding of social and academic challenges and transformations. The journal welcomes submissions in the fields of economics; business administration (finance, accounting, management, logistics, and tourism); education (educational measurement and evaluation, educational administration, curriculum and instruction, and educational research); social research; and community development.
Areas Covered:
1. Business Administration: Knowledge development in finance, accounting, management, logistics, and tourism.
2. Education: Research in educational measurement and evaluation, educational administration, curriculum and instruction development, and educational research.
3. Social Research: In-depth research on social dimensions, behavioral sciences, culture, social structures, and contemporary issues affecting ways of life and communities.
4. Community Development: Local development planning, community sustainability, public participation, enhancing the quality of life, and community empowerment in diverse contexts.
The Journal of Yala Rajabhat University aims to foster academic exchange and collaboration among scholars, researchers, policymakers, and students. The journal welcomes research and scholarly articles that enhance the understanding of economic, social, and educational issues, ultimately leading to the development of effective and sustainable policies and practices aligned with the regional context and society as a whole.
Publication Fee:
The journal charges fees based on the processing stages and the author's affiliation status as follows:
1. Peer Review Fee (Thai Manuscripts)
Internal Authors: 2,500 THB
External Authors: 5,000 THB
(This fee is charged once the manuscript enters the peer review process)
2. Peer Review Fee (English Manuscripts)
Internal Authors: 3,500 THB
External Authors: 6,000 THB
(This fee is charged once the manuscript enters the peer review process)
3. Article Publication Fee
Internal Authors: 500 THB
External Authors: 1,500 THB
(This fee is charged once the manuscript is accepted for publication)

Notification Regarding the Requirement for Two Expert Reviewers for Article Evaluation

Effective November 27, 2025, journals shall employ two qualified peer reviewers in accordance with the Announcement of the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) on Criteria and Procedures for Consideration and Appointment of Personnel to the Positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor (No. 3) B.E. 2568 (2025), which stipulates:
"In the case of publication of research articles or academic articles in national-level academic journals, such publications must appear in journals indexed in the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) database, specifically:
- For the position of Assistant Professor: publications must be indexed in TCI Tier 1 or TCI Tier 2
- For the position of Associate Professor: publications must be indexed in TCI Tier 1
For applications for academic positions in Social Sciences and Humanities disciplines:
- For the positions of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor: publications must be indexed in TCI Tier 1 or TCI Tier 2
- For the position of Professor: publications must be indexed in TCI Tier 1"
The aforementioned announcement is based on TCI criteria, which require the use of two qualified peer reviewers for article evaluation.

**When not all the documents are submitted, the manuscript will not be assessed and be rejected immediately.**

2. Before starting the submission process, please review the submission guidelines and checklist for fast editorial process. If the manuscript does not follow the guidelines, it will immediately be rejected.
3. Submission fee was as followed.

When the preliminary assessment is approved, the author will be notified of payment for article quality assessment fee. Later, when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the author will be notified of payment for article publication fee. (The staff will notify a payment prior to every each process.)

*Note:
- Every payment of each item listed in the table above “does not confirm a publication of your manuscript in the Journal of Yala Rajabhat University,” since the manuscript must be reviewed by at least 2 expert and editors before the manuscript is announced to be accepted.
- Please be informed before the submission in the Journal of Yala Rajabhat University that, if your manuscript is “rejected for the publication” by experts or editors, “the editorial teams will not refund the fee, in any case.” (That is because the fee has been paid to experts for the assessment.)
- The first author must be personnel of Yala Rajabhat University to get insider’s rate.
4. The regular process takes approximately 4-5 months** (The Journal of Yala Rajabhat University reserves the right to refuse any manuscripts requesting for shorter duration of this process.)
5. Please pay each item of the submission fee within 1 week, after being notified by the staff. Otherwise, the manuscript will be disqualified for the publication.
6. After the payment transfer, please attach your payment receipt in ThaiJo system, so that the staff can further to the next process.
7. In case your manuscript needs a revision, you are required to edit the manuscript and send the revised version to the staff within 30 days, after being informed about the revision. Otherwise, your manuscript could be rejected for publication.
