Factors Affecting the Provision of Local Social Welfare After The COVID-19 Crisis in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study the provision of local social welfare and its impacts after the COVID-19 crisis in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. to study the factors of local social welfare provision that have an impact after the COVID-19 crisis in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and to study the guidelines and solutions to the provision of local social welfare problems after the COVID-19 crisis in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The sample consisted of 395 residents in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The research instruments included questionnaires, data analysis using percentages, means and standard deviations and hypothesis testing using a chi-square test with a consistency value of 0.97 and a reliability of 0.91. The results also included interviews. The results revealed that local social welfare provision and its impacts after the COVID-19 crisis in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province were high overall and in each aspect. Local social welfare provision factors had no significant impact after the COVID-19 crisis in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, with a statistical significance level of 0.05. The results also included approaches and solutions to local social welfare provision after the COVID-19 crisis. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province: The government should plan policies for educational benefits and welfare, facilitate welfare arrangements for citizens to receive universal health insurance, provide housing benefits for the underprivileged, provide welfare for citizens to receive labor protection benefits, and plan solutions to problems resulting in increased stress, anxiety, mental health problems, and psychiatric illnesses.
