Amazing Herb Soap

Abstract

Soap is a kind of body cosmetics. Traditionally, soap was made from glycerin and natural moisturizers but now various substances from fresh botanical, natural herbs and minerals are added to the bars in order to meet the customers’ aesthetically pleasing needs such as beautiful colors, elegant fragrances, and medicinal properties. Regarding to commercial soap production, various chemical substances, synthetic colorants and fragrances, are used in both the bars and the packages. The packages, in particular, may contain toxic, dangerous contaminates and are mostly more expensive. At present, natural herbs are used in soap making process as wholesome ingredients instead of synthetic chemical substances. Herbs are natural drugs with important medicinal properties. They can provide many colors and fragrances, low-cost, easy to find, no toxin and no dangerous contaminates. According to the various properties of herbs, herbal soaps then have been proved that they can provide fresh, clean and therapeutic and amazing qualities reflecting valuable Thai wisdoms.
