Strategies for Enhancing Working Motivation

Abstract
Working motivation is one of the key factors in enhancing working staff to show his or her working behavior. If working motivation is positive, the working behavior will also be positive. In contrast, if there is no working motivation at all, the working behavior will certainly come up negatively. It is clearly seen that working motivation has a close correlation with working efficiency. Therefore, the management must know and have a clear understanding on the motivation strategy in order to be able to use such strategy in increasing working motivation among working staff. It is noted that appropriate motivation strategy include an offering of incentive in a form of both money and non-money. It is crucial that the incentive must be appropriate in line with the requirement of the working staffs which is also different depending on personal specific factor. This article reviewed and gathered several key theories concerning on working motivation, other factors that have correlation with working motivation, and strategies to help boost working motivation considered to be useful in creating a clear understanding on the issue of working motivation to be used as a strategic guideline in considering creating the working motivation.
