Factors Influencing Lateral Thinking of Student in Yala Rajabhat University

Abstract
This research aims to find factors of student’s characteristics, student’s home environment, factors in University and factors that influencing the lateral thinking of student. The sample was 619 students of Yala Rajabhat University in academic year 2556. Questionnaire were the devices which consist of five parts. The first is general information of students. The second to the fifth are factors of student’s characteristics, student’s home environment, factors in University and lateral thinking. The quality of questionnaire are the construct validity by the experts review and the confidence by coefficients of Cronbach’s alpha. The confidence value of questionnaires of student’s characteristics, student’s home environment, factors in University and lateral thinking are 0.97, 0.97, 0.96 and 0.92. The results are 1) the result of find factors found which 8 factors these are motivation, attitude of study, habit of reading, self-discipline, parenting and good relationships, promoting the learning of the family, talented and good relationship with the staffs and the environment arrangement to promote learning. 2) the result of factors that influence the lateral thinking by analyzing the factors found which 7 factors these are talented and good relationship with the staffs, the environment arrangement to promote learning, habit of reading, attitude of study, promoting the learning of the family, self-discipline, and motivation.
