Application of Sanghahavatthu Dhamma principles to Service Of the Local Registration Office at Nan Municipality in Nan Province

Abstract

This objectives of this research paper were 1) Study the  level of public service of the Local Registration Office at Nan Municipality, Nan Province, 2) Study the relationship between the Sanghahavatthu Dhamma and the public service at the Local Registration Office at Nan Municipality, Nan Province and 3) Present the application of the Sanghahavatthu Dhamma to promote the public services at the Local Registration office at Nan Municipality, Nan Province, by using the Sanghahavatthu Dhamma and mixed-method research methods.The quantitative research has a sample of 308 people, which are people who use the services of the local registration office at Nan Municipality, Nan Province. The instrument is a questionnaire with a good level of reliability (α = 0.879).  Data analysis Including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient and qualitative research with in-depth interviews of 9 people using an interview form.

The research findings were as follows :

1) The level of public service at  Nan Municipality Local Registration Office, Nan Province, found that in terms of generosity, kindness in speech, self-conduct, and unity, the overall level was at a high level.

2) The relationship between the principles of Sanghahavatthu Dhamma and public services of the Local Registration Office of Nan Municipality, Nan Province, found that the overall picture was very high, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level.

3) Application of the principles of Sanghahavatthu Dhamma. In order to promote the public services at Nan Municipality Local Registration Office, Nan Province was found that in terms of giving, they provided services with kindness and set a service development plan for the staff to the fullest extent. In terms of kindness, they spoke politely and with a polite tone. In terms of courtesy, they provided information on various matters.     In terms of unity, they acted equally.
