Guidelines for Managing Learning in The New Normal Situation for High School Teachers at Ban Pang Fueang School

Abstract

This research aims to develop an internal quality assurance system model for Wat The objectives of this research are : 1) To study and analyze the current management of teaching and learning by high school teachers at Baan Pang Fueng School, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province, and 2) To find guidelines for managing learning after the new normal situation for high school teachers at Baan Pang Fueng School, using the "How learning works" process in the 21st century. This is a qualitative research study with 8 main data providers, including 1 school director, 1 deputy school director, and 6 teachers. The research tools used are interview frameworks and group discussions, with data analysis conducted through content analysis.

The research findings reveal that :

1) In teaching and learning management are weaknesses of Baan Pang Fueng School, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province. Particularly, issues related to teaching and learning management, specifically the management of staff learning, lack contemporary teaching methods, and the utilization of various technology applications for learning management. These issues need urgent attention and resolution.

2) After encountering the new normal landscape for high school teachers at Baan Pang Fueng School, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province, the following management strategies for teaching and learning have been identified: Utilizing the "How learning works" approach in the 21st century to link with 8 performance indicators for classroom teaching management by teachers, which includes: Teacher preparedness, Use of teaching aids to stimulate learning, Access to learning materials and self-understanding of lessons,Linking previous, knowledge/experiences with new learning, Creating self-knowledge and new experiences, Encouraging motivation for learning, Developing specialized skills through learning, Implementing student-centered teaching, where students receive feedback for self-improvement, Creating a suitable classroom atmosphere, Guiding learning processes and facilitating hands-on learning experiences, Diversifying teaching and learning management methods.
