School Scout Troop Management in the 21st Century in the Mae Yuam Educational Quality Development Network Center Mae Hong Son Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, Mae Hong Son Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the management of the 21st century school scout group in the Mae Yuam Education Quality Development Network Center and 2) study the development guidelines for the management of the 21st century school scout group in the Mae Yuam Education Quality Development Network Center, Mae Hong Son Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The population consisted of 92 people in the 2024 academic year. The instruments used were a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.96 and a semi-structured interview form. The interviews were conducted from each questionnaire with the lowest mean. The data were analyzed by finding the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research results were summarized, the discussion of the results, and recommendations.

The research results found that:

1) The management of the 21st century school scout group in the Mae Yuam Education Quality Development Network Center, Mae Hong Son Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was at a high level overall.

2) The development guidelines for the management of the 21st century school scout group included: allowing all parties to participate in curriculum development, clearly explaining the management, allowing parents to participate in activities, and promoting personnel to have more scouting qualifications. Planning should be clear and age-appropriate, using technology and innovation. Resource allocation should focus on developing human resources and leadership. Coordination should create cooperation with the community. Activities should strictly follow the curriculum. Evaluation should have a monitoring system leading to sustainable development.
