Buddhist Methods To Promote Local Politicians In Nong Hin Subdistrict Adminis-trative Organization Nong Hin District Loei Province

Abstract

This thesis aims as follows: 1) To study the general conditions of local politicians in Nong Hin Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nong Hin District, Loei Province 2) To propose Buddhist approaches to promote local politicians in Nong Hin Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nong Hin District, Loei Province. This is a qualitative research study conducted in 2 ways: studying data from documents, including fieldwork to conduct in-depth interviews with 10 figures or people, and analyzing data by descriptive method.

          The research results found that:

1)The general conditions of local politicians in Nong Hin Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nong Hin District, Loei Province found that local politicians performed their duties in the communities they were responsible for, played an important role in local development and took care of the well-being of the people in the areas they were responsible for. The budget allocation may not cover all infrastructure in the areas they were responsible for, and lacked proper care and attention, such as roads, traffic, garbage, and the environment. Local politicians still lack modern management, the use of technology to provide services through applications or open data systems, and politicians still lack skills in using technology or strategic planning, especially in using social media and civil society groups. Put pressure on local politicians to be more transparent and effective in terms of budget.

2)Propose Buddhist methods to promote local politicians in Nong Hin Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nong Hin District, Loei Province. It was found that in terms of meeting regularly, executives give importance to meetings because they are the heart of management. In terms of being in unison, everyone gives importance to entering and ending meetings because it indicates unity of the organization. Organizing meetings outside the office or internal meetings is necessary for the organization. In terms of not enacting new things that violate the old rules, respecting the old things is good because it is something that our ancestors have done well. In terms of respecting elders, the virtue of those who have authority over others strengthens good relationships in the organization. In terms of honoring and protecting women's rights, it reduces gender inequality in society, creating a society that is just and respectful of diversity. In terms of respecting the place, being aware of the value, importance, and appropriateness of the place, expressed through polite and neat behavior, reflecting self-discipline and responsibility.
