DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT LIFE SKILLS IN THE DIGITAL AGE OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY EXPANSION SCHOOLS IN OMKOI DISTRICT UNDER THE CHIANG MAI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 5

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study 1) the development of students' life skills in the digital era of schools to expand educational opportunities, and 2) the approach to developing students' life skills in the digital era of schools to expand educational opportunities in Om Koi District under the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 5. This is research that combines both quantitative and qualitative methods. The sample group in the research included 138 school administrators and teachers, and qualified people in the interviews. The tools used included a questionnaire with a confidence value of 0.98 and structured interviews, data analysis with frequency, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

          The results showed that:

          1) The development of students' life skills in the digital era of the school expands educational opportunities in Om Koi District that affiliated to the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 5. Respectively such as Flexibility and adaptability, Leadership and Accountability, Initiative and self-guidance, In terms of productivity and responsibility knowledge, and in terms of social skills and cross-cultural learning.

          2) The guidelines for developing students' life skills in the digital era of schools to expand educational opportunities in Om Koi District that affiliated to the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 5 found that 1) students should accept feedback and suggestions to promote mindful listening skills and accept different opinions, 2) students should plan new tasks by prioritizing their work and evaluating their own work, 3) students should have ethics and morality, cultivate public awareness in the digital era, and 4) allow students to think critically and connect information from various sources. 5) Allow students to search for information through online channels and search for information effectively.
