Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) Study the current situation and development guidelines for managing information technology systems in the digital era, and 2) Identify development approaches for managing information technology systems in the digital era for opportunity expansion schools in Hang Dong District, under the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 4. The study employed a mixed-methods descriptive research design. The sample group consisted of 101 participants, including school administrators and teachers during the 2024 academic year. Data collection instruments included questionnaires and interviews, with a reliability coefficient of 0.88. Data were analyzed using percentage, frequency, mean, and standard deviation.
The research results found that :
1) the overall information technology system management in the digital age was at a high level. When consideration each aspect, ranked from the highest to the lowest mean values, they were: the aspect of teaching and learning management and evaluation, followed by the aspect of strategic management, the aspect of roles and responsibilities, the aspect of information technology infrastructure, the aspect of control, monitoring, and evaluation, and the aspect of system management, respectively.
2) The development guidelines for information technology management in the digital age were; there should be a technology management system infrastructure in the digital age, there should be a strategic plan to develop the information technology system in the digital age, there should be a technology management system in organizations and educational institutions, there should determine the roles and responsibilities of personnel clearly, there should adjust management system to appropriate with changes in technology, there should develop for measurement and evaluation methods appropriately, and there should organize the digital technology network system flexible and support the expansion of new data and technology system.
