Abstract

   

Learning management process for teachers in preparing for teaching practice which affects the quality of learners, thus resulting in this research with the objective of investigation in the current states, desirable states, needs and approaches of enhancing learning management competency of primary school teachers under office of the basic Education commission. A specific group of 9 experts were assigned. The sample was a total of 758, by opening tables Krejcie and Morgan and a group of 24 specific respondents by using an assessment (IOC=0.80-1.00) questionnaire (IOC=0.60-1.00) and structured interviews (IOC=0.80-1.00) for the research area to collect data by using descriptive statistics. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, inferential statistics with values and needs assessment (PNImodified) and analyze content. The results of the study shown that 1) 5 elements of learning management competency for primary school teachers were found which consisted of (1) learners analysis comprised, (2) learning design, (3) students centered learning management consisted, (4) using innovation and technology consisted, and (5) assessment and evaluation consisted of 2) The current states of learning management competency for primary school teachers overall shown the rates in more level and the desirable states were at the highest level, the competencies of the use of innovative media technology were followed, and 3) the approaches of learning management competency for primary school teachers found that the appropriate teacher development can be seen as a useful guideline to develop more effective teacher competency.
