Abstract

    The research objective were to design informal learning management with participatory processes, and to study the results of before- and after-participation in the area of awareness of the local wisdom conservation of shadow play (Nang Yai) of Wat Sawang Arom, Singburi Province. Specific sample groups were selected and divided into 2 groups: 5 key informants who were experts in curriculum development and  local wisdom, and 30 voluntary participants who were children and youth among 11-14 years of age. The research tools consisted of an activity plan based on the participation process, with group brainstorming and then analyzing the content for the learning level of assessment and awareness scale in a 3-level estimation scale with the accuracy of more than 0.50 for all questions in both issues. Data were collected during February- March 2020, after that it was analyzed using basic statistics such as percentage and mean. The research results showed that there were 8 learning management plans, consisting of “Raak-pom-som-ta”, “Roo-wei-duiw-pud-kum-kao-mai-ru-rueng”, “Krong-suay-duiw-mae-roa”, “Yum-tao-ten-sao”, “Long-lung-puk-than”, “Ruem-cherd-krong 1”, “Ruem-cherd-krong 2”, and “Jak-Krong-su-rueng” where 75.00 percent of participants had behavioral learning and 65.81% cognitive skills were at a good level. Also, there was a high level of awareness after participating in the activities. It shows that the learning management plan can be created and used to carry out activities for learners and it effectively raised the awareness of local wisdom.
