HOW TO MANAGE THE ELDERLY CLUB TO SUCCESS?

Thailand has entered towards the aging society since 2005, with the elderly who aged from 60 years more than 10 percent or from 65 more than 7 percent of the total Thai population. The elderly number estimation in 2022 will be accounted for 20.55 percent of the total Thai population resulting in the absolutely aging society in the near future. In order to accommodate the aging society, the potent elderly integration should be encouraged for both physical and mental health, change stimulus, knowledge exchange to prevent and solve problems as their knowledge, skills, and experiences turn them into active aging. Therefore, the elderly club is a crucial basis to accomplish elderly activities. The club acts as the co-ordination center for the elderly in and out of the community. Moreover, the elderly have to comply with the club regulation. Consequently, the elderly club is a starting point for community elderly accumulation. From the previous records, the clubs established could implement and had continuing activities only half of them due to various management problems. However, some of them had successful management. Conclusively, success key factors of the elderly club comprise: management, club committee, club member, and club activities.
